GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS


 Call for proposals begin on November 1st 2005 and end March 15th 2006. SANPAD is making available a PDF copy of the application manual in order to give interested candidates an opportunity to study the requirements.

The Grant Application process requires that two compulsory Forms (Forms 1 and 2) are completed for New Grant Applications. Please note that:

  •  Form 1 must be completed in Excel format and,
  •  Form 2 must be completed in Word format

The forms must be downloaded and one completed copy must be submitted via e-mail to and a further  printed (hard) copy must be posted to the SANPAD office. Please mark your envelop as follows: GRANT APPLICATION 2006.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD FORMS:

The Grant Application Forms are 5.7 MB and the time that it takes to download on your PC depends on the speed at which you are connected to the internet. This form should be downloaded and saved, on to your PC, before you open it. If there are any further inquires please e-mail the .

             
Procedure to download Manual / Form :

  1. Click on the desired form or manual. A Dialog Box will then appear.
  2. Click "Save Target As". A "Save As" box will appear.
  3. Thereafter choose the desired location of where the Manual / Form will be saved.
  4. Click "Save".
  5. One can then access the Manual / Form, once it has completed downloading into the chosen location.
     

 A. GRANT APPLICATION FORMS

    FORM 1 ( EXCEL FORMAT) Includes information pertaining to :

  1. Personal details of Researchers ( Please attach a 1 page CV detailing the last 5 years of activity) and,
  2. Budget Form
  3. Checklist

    FORM 2 (WORD FORMAT) includes information pertaining to :

  1. Research Project Details ( Research Methodology etc)

B. PRE- PROPOSAL (SEED FUNDING) GRANTS:

   The Following forms must completed for pre-proposal grants:

   FORM 3 ( EXCEL FORMAT): Pre-Proposal (Seed Funds) Application:

  1. Motivation for seed funds and
  2. Budget Form

 

C. ANNUAL REPORT FORM (WORD FORMAT)

    FORM 4: The annual report Form is submitted at the end of each year of the project phase
 

D. FINAL REPORT FORM (WORD FORMAT)

    FORM 5: The Final report must be submitted at the end of the Project Phase together with an
                audited Financial Statement from your Institution.

E. APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF FUNDS AND TIME:

   FORM 6 (WORD FORMAT)
